There are two versions of AssetWise CONNECT Edition Asset Lifecycle Information Management (ALIM): ALIM includes functionality suitable for most users, while the ALIM configured for Transportation version includes functionality and configuration specific to the transportation industry. Both versions share a majority of the installation instructions.

Additionally, for the transportation version of the software, users may install a sample configuration, designated with either "Transportation Only", "Sample Transportation Only", or "Transportation Linear Only".
